Within the Vratnik walls, there is a cannon fortress at Jekovac called Žuta tabija (The Yellow Garrison). During the battles with the Austro-Hungarian troops in 1878, it was one of the bastions of the defenders at vratnik. Last time it was rebuilt in 1998. A beautiful view of Sarajevo extends from the rocks at Jekovac- They say that it is the most beautiful place to watch the sunset. Until the aggression on Sarajevo in 1992-1995, there was a beautiful restaurant at the top of Jekovac. There were verandes with view of Sarajevo.
